Age-Related Macular Degeneration

Age-related macular degeneration comes in wet and dry forms. Due to the rapid change in the landscape of this field, consult with us and see what is the best treatment for your specific type of macular degeneration.

Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Edema

Diabetics require regular eye screenings to prevent vision loss from diabetic retinal disease. Advanced diabetic eye disease may require in-office and/or surgical treatment to save and improve vision.

Macular Pucker and Macular Holes

Macular puckers and macular holes are created when normal layers in our eye start to form tractional membranes. These membranes can cause distortion, vision loss and double vision. Surgery may be needed to treat these membranes

Ocular inflammatory disease

The immune system can attack the internal structures of the eye causing inflammation, macular edema, and progressive vision loss. Proper diagnosis and management will require close coordination with your primary care provider and rheumatologist.

Retinal tears and detachments

If you are experiencing flashes or floaters, or have been diagnosed with a retinal tear or detachment you may require an in-office procedure or surgery. Urgent evaluation is often essential.

Retinal Vein Occlusion

Retinal vein occlusions can cause a sudden painless loss of vision, and are usually associated with elevated blood pressure. In office treatment such as injections or lasers, can help improve vision.
